Jennifer (Bearden) Lauderdale

Jennifer Bearden-Lauderdale, 48, of Marion, Illinois, passed away on February 03, 2023. She was born on September 11, 1974, the daughter of Wallace Michael Bearden and Pamela Starrick. She had three children: Jayla, Jessica and Darren.

Jennifer married Jerry Lauderdale on October 24, 2009, in her mother’s front yard. They celebrated 8 years of marriage until Jerry’s passing in 2017. Jennifer was an extremely hard worker, she always held the manager position at her job. She worked as a school bus driver, a machine operator at Pepsi, a waitress at Pulley’s BBQ and a certified jewelry piercer.

She loved the color red and wearing jewelry. Jennifer could always spark up a conversation with someone.

She is survived by Daughter, Jessica (Curtis) Hall, Son, Darren (Kimmy) Lauderdale, and Mother, Pam Starrick. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Johnathan, Harper, Kayli, and Skyler, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her dog Stevie, whom she named after Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac.

In addition to her spouse Jerry, Jennifer was predeceased by her Father, Wallace Michael Bearden, her Mother-in-law, Myra Whitecotton, Stepdad, “RD” Starrick, Baby Daughter Jayla Lynn Lingle, Paternal grandmother Lila Magnotti, and Maternal grandparents Laverne and Eva Harris.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Binkley-Ross Funeral Home located at 1702 West Boulevard Street, Marion, Illinois. Friends and family may gather for a time of visitation from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
