Vicki Jo Rogers

Vicki Jo Rogers, 71, of Marion, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:12 p.m.

Vicki was born on September 2, 1953, in Lodi, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Followell) Trammell. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was centered on her family. On May 31, 1986, she married the love of her life, Milton Rogers. Together they shared 39 wonderful years of marriage, building a home filled with love and devotion.

She especially cherished her role as “Mamaw” to her grandchildren and made it her mission to spend as much time as possible with them. Her family truly meant everything to her, and she poured her heart into every moment she shared with them.

Vicki’s career reflected her caring and dedicated spirit. She was well known in her community as the manager of the Wonder Hostess Bread Store, where she worked for nine years. Later, she served with the Williamson County Programs on Aging, working on the adult daycare side, where she drove the bus and led activities for the seniors in her care. Earlier in life, she also worked as a beautician from her own home, using her talents to serve family, friends, and neighbors.

She is survived by her husband, Milton Rogers; her daughters, Tina (Keith) Dalton and Billie Jo Dukes; beloved grandchildren, Chelsea (Tyler) Loyd, Abbie Dalton, Dusty (Clayton Black) Dukes; as well as several other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Kathy Moore; her brothers, Robert “Butch” Trammell and a baby brother.

In keeping with Vicki’s wishes, there will be no public services. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Residential Home Health and Hospice for their compassionate care.
