Tammy Mitchell CARRIER MILLS-Tammy Mitchell, 48, of Carrier Mills passed away at 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 22, 2006 at her home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Tammy was born on August 19, 1958 in Marion, Illinois to Raymond and Berniece (Gray) McCormick . She married Darwin J. Mitchell on June 27, 1987 in Carrier Mills; together they shared 19 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Darwin; son and daughter-in-law, Clark and Sara Mitchell; daughters, Patty, Lacy and Micah Mitchell; grandchildren, Ander Mitchell and Starr and Melisse Shadowens; her parent, Raymond and Berniece McCormick; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Dena McCormick, Michael and Nancy McCormick and Scott and Vicki McCormick; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dana and Mark Mucci and Kitty and Jack Henderson; and several nieces and nephews. Tammy was a homemaker and mother. She was a Marion High School graduate with the class of 1976.
