Susan K. Emery, 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Herrin Hospital.
Susan was born on November 10, 1958, in Jacksonville, Illinois, the daughter of John and Gale Emery.
Susan had a lifelong love for cats. Caring for her beloved feline companions brought her much comfort, happiness, and joy throughout her life.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce (Jamie) Thompson; two nieces; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Binkley-Ross Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral arrangements. In accordance with Susan’s wishes, there will be no public services. Inurnment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion, Illinois.
