Steven Lee Lane, 48, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Union County Hospital.
Steven was the son of David and Bonnie (Lane) Bernhardt. He worked as a custodian at the J.R. Center in Anna.
He is survived by his:
Parents – Bonnie and David Bernhardt of Marion
Sister – Reanna Bernhardt and Jeff Lindsey of Marion
Sister – Jeri Beth & Steve Denton of Carbondale
Nieces and nephews;
Trenton Hutchinson of Marion
Jaxston Bernhardt of Marion
Zeller Lindsey of Marion
Jeremiah Morgan of Harrisburg
Dylan Stone of Carbondale
Kamden Denton of Carbondale
Grandmother – Margaret Bernhardt of Marion
Uncle – Randy Lane of Marion
Preceded by his maternal grandparents – Mildred Walker and Eugene Lane, paternal grandfather – Charles Bernhardt
Graveside services will be Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1 pm at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion with his great uncle, Rev. Don Colson officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
