Samie Spray

Samie L. Spray was born on December 13, 1967, in Wabash, Indiana.

She passed peacefully on October 24th at 12:20 a.m., with her sister Kelly L. Smith and cousin Johnna Stewart by her side.

Samie had three sisters and one brother: Darlene Smith, Elba Wray Maynard and Terry L. Fields.

Samie resided with her Aunt Deb and cousins Paul and Mikie Longanecker in Marion, Illinois. She moved to Oklahoma in 1983. At age 18, she began working for Tyson Foods in Arkansas and later returned to the company in 2019 while living in Oklahoma. She also had her own barbecue business in Woodward and worked at Bob Evans and on the rail crew for BNSF in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was married to Lyndon Spray of Woodward, Oklahoma. Samie had no children. 

She dearly loved her nieces and nephews—Kelithia and Eddie Cales and their children Krystina, Isaac, and Mary Jane; and her great-grandniece Kora. She also cherished Alina and Edwin Villafane and their children Ryleigh and Scarlett Maples, and Mila Villafane.
