Robert L. Venegoni, age 94, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Herrin Hospital.
Robert was born July 03, 1928 in Herrin, Illinois, a son of Frank and Lena (Gualdoni) Venegoni. Prior to his retirement, Robert had worked in maintenance at the Fish and Wildlife Refuge.
He is survived by one brother, Bill (Jo Ann) Venegoni; his niece, Tiffany (John) Venegoni-Kern and Family; niece Nikki Venegoni; nephew Richard (Mary Kay) Marlow; and niece Barbara (Bob) Marlow-Lillianstrum.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lena (Gualdoni) Venegoni and one sister, Dorothy (Venegoni) Marlow.
Visitation will be Friday, August 12th, 2022 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 12, 2022, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with Father Mark Reyling officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin.
