Richard Dale Logan

Richard "Dick" Dale Logan, age 78, of Creal Springs, Illinois, passed away on March 24, 2026, at the Marion VA Hospital, with his wife at his side.

Dick was born on June 28, 1947, in West Lafayette, Indiana, to Rodger Dale and Virginia Lu (Brittain) Logan. He graduated from Pierceton High School in Indiana before proudly enlisting in the United States Navy. He later married the love of his life, Elinor Beke, and together they built a life grounded in devotion, companionship, and family.

Dick loved fishing—especially on trips to Minnesota and Michigan—and he enjoyed relaxing with a good cowboy movie. Above all, he cherished time spent with his wife and family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and his quiet, steady presence will be deeply missed.

Dick is survived by his loving wife, Elinor Logan; his son, Drew Logan; his grandchildren, Arin Logan, Gavin Landwer, and Ian Landwer; his siblings, Rebecca (Jay) Stouppe, Bill (Marcie) Logan, and Elizabeth (Bob) Kleiner; and his special niece, Barbara Botka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodger and Virginia, and his daughter, Erin Landwer.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley‑Ross. Services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Marion VA or a Veterans Organization of the donors choice.
