Rhonda Lynne Rich, age 62, of Marion, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Herrin Hospital. Rhonda was born on April 8, 1963, to the late Roy and Esther Louise (Howell) Rich, in Marion, IL.
In life, Rhonda was a home health caregiver for several years, always ensuring that her clients had the utmost support, as she was known for consistently putting others and their needs before her own. She was a lover of game nights with friends and family, often playing cards and board games with the people she cherished. Rhonda was known to be the life of the party, filling the room with singing and contagious laughter that was sure to put anyone she was around in a good mood. She had a refined sense of humor, as she enjoyed being silly and lighting up the room with her joy. She also had a special place in her heart for music, primarily classic rock and country, as well as shopping and decorating.
But the one thing she loved most was her family and friends, especially her beautiful Bella, who she adored cheering on at her softball games.
Rhonda is survived by her daughters, Heather Hodge, and Riane (Dick) Graham, her brothers, Russel (Linda) Rich and Randy (Pat) Rich; her sister, Renee Kay Rich; her brother-in-law, Randy Rodgers; her granddaughter, Izabella Arredondo, along with nieces and nephews and many other treasured relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Esther Rich, and her sister, Robin Rodgers. Rhonda was someone with a big heart whose kindness was so abundant, it could not be measured. She will be deeply missed.
