Raymond E. Gordon

Carbondale- Raymond E. Gordon, 55, of rural Carbondale, passed away at 9:30 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at his home. Raymond was born on December 6, 1949 in Shelbyville, IL to Noble & Wanda (Moore) Gordon. Mr. Gordon was retired as a nurse from the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Diego, CA. SURVIVORS: Brother & sister in law- Steve & Barbara Gordon- Niles, MI Sister & brother in law- Peggy & Roscoe Richards- Cowden , IL Brother & sister in law- Morris & Judy Gordon- Shelbyville, IL Sister- Connie Hysell- Shelbyville, IL Sister- Rebecca Gordon- Carbondale Several nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews Beloved dogs- Cotton & Silky He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM. Saturday, October 15, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church in Shelbyville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
