Phil Henry

Phillip “Phil” Henry, age 74, of Carbondale, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 12:14 a.m. at Integrity Healthcare in Carbondale, Illinois.

Phil was born on December 7, 1945 in Carbondale, Illinois, a son of Roy Lee and Nora (Stuart) Henry. Phil enjoyed fishing, riding bicycles and loved his GTO.

Survivors include his two sons, David Joe Henry-Dorris and Mark Lee Henry-Dorris, four sisters, Lee and Doc Koch, Betty Boester, Mae Silkwood, and Lynn Lansangan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Edward Henry; and one sister, Lorene Jacobs.

Phil’s wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.

Blue Funeral Home in Marion, Illinois is assisting the family with the arrangements.
