Lisa Goodwin

Perneica Ann "Lisa" Goodwin, age 59, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Herrin Hospital.

Lisa was born April 19, 1964 in Murray, Kentucky, a daughter of John Higgins and Janice A. Higgins-Morris. She married Jeff R. Goodwin on December 29, 1992 in Marion.

She is survived by her husband- Jeff R. Goodwin of Herrin, IL; three daughters- Natasha D. (Timothy) Head, KimberLee Goodwin, and Danielle Goodwin; two siblings- Robert (Kelly) Higgins and Katrina (Mike) Gallops; and seven grandchildren- Brianna, Mason, Jase, JR, Makayla, Sammy, and Isabella.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother- Thomas Higgins; Step-Father- Alvin Morris; mother-in-law- Patty J. Miller; and father-in-law- Gene F. Goodwin.

As per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held at this time. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
