Paul Michael Deaton

Paul Michael Deaton, 38, of Royalton passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1:09 A.M. at his home. Paul was born December 1, 1971 the son of Mike & Gloria (Emery) Deaton in Marion. He married Tracy Walker on July 4, 2003 in Carterville and she survives in Royalton. He worked for Short Brothers Construction and he was a member of the Laborers Local Union. In addition to his wife he is survived by: Parents Mike & Gloria Deaton of Marion Step Daughters; Brittany Jordan of Herrin Beth Shadowens of Royalton Step Sons; Jeff Shadowens of Marion Josh Shadowens of Hurst Four Step Grandchildren; Abigail, Chiristan, Lean Jordan Makala Shadowens Sister Jinny & Dennis Crites of Marion Nephew Zachary Crites of Marion Paternal Grandmother Pat Deaton of Marion Maternal Grandparents Bob & Lana Emery of Marion Numerous aunts and uncles Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Jearalds officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
