Herrin- Patrick (Pat) McCarville, 34, of Herrin died at 2:41 AM, Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Herrin Hospital. Pat was born on October 2, 1967 in Beloit, WI to Kenneth J. & Geraldine A. (Wedig) McCarville. Patrick was a Certified Nurse's Assistant for various facilities and cared for those in poor health. He was of Catholic Faith. He was a good storyteller and had a warm sense of humor. He enjoyed tennis and was a published writer of articles and short stories. SURVIVORS: Mother & Father- Kenneth J. & Geraldine A. Fisher- Herrin Matthew McCarville- Roscoe Mark McCarville- Roscoe Jennifer McCarville- Roscoe Several Aunts, Uncles, Great Aunts & Uncles. Pets- (Babs) & (Kitty) Close Friends- Dan Teeling of Herrin Barb & Roger Tony & Kayleen His grandparents preceded him in death. The funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 24, 2002 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Private interment services will be held at a later date. The family suggests masses to the church.
