Mildred L. Anderson MARION-Mildred L. Anderson, 89, of Marion passed away at 8:45 PM, Monday, May 24, 2010 at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Gordon Lantrip officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion. Mildred was born April 7, 1921 in Williamson County to Richard and Fannie (Bratten) Burns. She married Andrew Anderson; he preceded her in death. Survivors include nephew and wife, Robert and Rosemary Burns; and great niece and husband, Rosemary Beth and Orvil Garris. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Marguerite Burns. Mildred was a homemaker and a Christian lady who was sweet and kind to everyone she knew. She enjoyed knitting and quilting, especially during her younger years when she could do them with her mother.
