Goreville- Michelle Renee Turner, 43, of Goreville, formerly of Herrin, passed away at 10:45 AM, Friday, September 16, 2005 at her home. Michelle was born on July 31, 1962 in Carbondale to Clifford & Joy Hudson. She married Carl Turner at the United Methodist Church in Goreville. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2004. Mrs. Turner formerly worked as a clerk for Wal-Mart. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Goreville and was an excellent cook. SURVIVORS: Grandmother- Genevieve Hudson- Herrin Half Sister- Tracy Zale- Houston, TX Half Brother- Rocky Hudson- Chicago Many close friends She was preceded in death by her father & husband. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Tim Woodard will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.
