Mary Foster

Marion-Mary Louise Foster, 90, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Herrin Hospital.

Mary was born on June 30, 1929 in Johnson County to Al and Gyneth (Little) Duncan.

Mary worked as a legal secretary for 35 years. She was very intelligent and was the Valedictorian of her class at SIUC. Mary was a member of the Church of Christ in Granite City.

Survivors include:

Son-Mike Foster (Lynn) of Vienna

Daughter-Terrie Elder of Oklahoma City, OK

Son-Scott Foster (Cindy) of Farmington, MO

Two grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents

Mary’s wishes were to be cremated.  Private services will be held.  Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with arrangements.
