Mamie Marks

Mamie Marks, 98, died Tuesday, March 02, 2004 at 11:30 A.M. in Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Mamie was born November 23, 1905 to Robert E. and Georgia Ann (Sisk) Brigham in Zeigler. She married Ira Marks on November 01, 1924 in Williamson County and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1969. Mamie was a homemaker and a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Marion. Mamie was the last surviving child of fourteen children, preceded by 11 Sisters and 2 Brothers. Funeral services will be Friday, March 05, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. For those who prefer, memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
