Luther Lee Howard

Luther Lee Howard, age 62, of Buncombe, Illinois, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Luther was born January 21, 1962 in Cape Giradeau, Missouri, a son of Junior and Shirley (Hubbard) Howard. While growing up Luther's family moved often, moving to several towns in Missouri and Southern Illinois. Luther spent most of his life doing "Odd Jobs". He enjoyed fishing, and working on lawn mowers.

He is survived by three brothers, Rex (Mildred) Howard of Herrin, IL, Chester (Dorothy) Howard of Scott City, MO, and Charles W. (Laurie) Howard Sr. of Marion, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Shirley Howard and one sister, Lawanda "Janie" Snider.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024, 1:30 PM at Mount Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wheaton officiating.
