Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home Lucille Retherford-Obit Marion-Lucille Retherford, age 94, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 5:35 P.M. at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Lucille was born August 24, 1908 to James & Martha (Grisham) Barnett. She was first married to Charlie Simmons who preceded her in death, and later married Thomas Retherford, who also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Marion. She was a homemaker. Survivors Include: Her Sister: Ethel Malone of Johnston City, IL. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two sisters and six brothers. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 7, 2003 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery in Tunnel Hill, IL. Visitation will be 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
