Lu Ann was born October 27, 1957 in Centralia, Illinois to Lyle Warren Kane & Barbara Timmons. She attended the First Christian Church in Herrin. She graduated from Herrin High School in 1976. She also attended John A. Logan College. Survivors Include: Mother & Step Father: Barbara & Glen Miller of Herrin Two Sisters: Vicki Miller of Herrin Tina Pierce & husband Roy of Johnston City Three Nieces: Tiffany Pierce of Johnston City Sumar Kane of Herrin Charsi Kane of Herrin One Nephew: Travis Pierce of Johnston City Grandmother: Theresa Miller of Centralia, IL. Aunt: Lora Timmons of Centralia Aunt: Betty Kane of St. Louis, MO. Aunt: Ginny Kane of Las Vegas, NV. Uncle: Dale Miller of Centralia Uncle: Milburn Miller & wife Jackie of Mt. Sterling, IL. Cousins: Resa & John Samuels of Arlington Hts. David & Linda Crabtree of Godfrey, IL. Connie Crabtree of East Alton, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, brother, Mike Kane, maternal grandmother, Opal Timmons, paternal grandparents, Elbert & Bessie Kane. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Henwood officiating. Entombment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., Monday, August 18, 2003 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
