Lois “Nadine” Hamilton, born September 3, 1941, in Du Quoin, Illinois, was the daughter of Roy James Hamilton and Lois Nadine (Arterberry) Hamilton.
Nadine attended flight attendant school and later built a long career serving her community. During the late 1970s and 1980s, she worked at Marion Ford Tractor, where she handled parts and inventory. Among her most beloved companions was her little Yorkie, Mindy, who was by her side for 17 years. She also dearly loved her daughter’s Yorkie, Molly.
Nadine was a past member of First Baptist Church in Pinckneyville.
