Liza Schooneart, age 47, of Herrin, passed away peacefully at 12:45pm on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.
Liza was born in Herrin on September 18, 1973, the daughter of Sandra Schooneart and Charles Manis, Jr. She married Thomas Vaughn. He survives in Colp.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated. No services will be held at this time.
Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
