Lateashia Chandler

On July 28th, 2026 Lateashia “Teashia” Markay Chandler of Anna-Jonesboro passed away at the age of 41 years. Lateashia was born on April 14, 1985 in Marion, IL.

Teashia was a very artistic person. She loved drawing, painting, and giving tattoos. Teashia also loved being outdoors. She loved fishing and doing yard work. She took pride in the way her yard looked. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and friends. Teashia is survived by her children, Hunter (Jillian) Svanda, Kearston Svanda, Dalton Hudgens, Zachary Evetts, and Nevaeh Evetts; Siblings Timothy Shadowens, and Danny (Kristine) Hudgens; nephew DJ; as well as many other family members and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Betty Groves and father, Jim Cosby.

There will be an in remembrance held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Ferne Clyffe State Park.
