Johnston City- (Larry) Elmer Lawrence Felts, 73, passed away at Memorial Hospital at Carbondale at 9:44 P.M, Saturday, September 21, 2002. Larry was born on June 2, 1929 in Johnston City to Herman & Eva (Wilds) Felts. He married Donna S. Morgan on June 6, 1990 in Johnston City. Mr. Felts was a US Army Veteran. He retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion where he worked in the dietary services department. Survivors: Wife- Donna Felts- Johnston City Daughter- Cheryl Burgardt- Kenosha, WI Step-Daughter- Kim Davis Beavers- Marion Step-Daughter- Patricia Logan- Effingham Grandchild- Robin McDougal Step Grandchildren: Eric Davis- Johnston City Paige & Craig Logan- Effingham Sister- Jane Peterman- Chicago His parents, one brother, and one sister preceded him in death. The funeral services will be held at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Jerry Schell will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.
