Kayden Peterson Marion-Kayden Raley Peterson, 22 months, of Marion passed away at 6:38 PM, Saturday, October 23, 2010 surrounded by his family at Saint Louis Children’s Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 PM, Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion, with Pastor Bobby Parker officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers Donations may be made to the MacKenna Peterson Education Fund; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Kayden was born on December 14, 2008 in Marion to Scott & Cassidy (McCord) Peterson. Kayden is survived by his parents of Marion; sister, MacKenna Peterson; maternal grandmother, Patricia McCord; maternal great-grandmother, Viola McCord; paternal grandparents, Robert & Cheryl Peterson; paternal great-grandmother Eunice Galyen; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry McCord.
