Kathie K. Cullum

Pittsburg – Kathie K. Cullum, 58, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 10:57 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center.  Kathie was born August 28, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Homer & Clemetine (Pruitt) Phillips.  She married Dennis Cullum on April 10, 1973 in Pittsburg and they just recently celebrated their 40^th wedding anniversary.  She was a homemaker.  Survivors include her;Husband – Dennis Cullum of Pittsburg; Son – Jason Cullum and wife Jacqueline of Carterville; Daughter – Tammy Braden and husband Bryan of Metropolis; Four grandchildren;   Josh, Christina and Brittany Braden of Metropolis;   Kaylee Jo Cullum of Carterville; Brother – Jerry Phillips and wife Margaret of Kremmling, Colorado; Sister – Robin Cautrell and husband Floyd of Grandby, Colorado; Preceded by her Parents.  Funeral services will be Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Braden officiating.  Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home.  For additional information or to sign the guest memorial register please visit www.hughesfuneralhomes.com.
