Judith Lynn Moore

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Lynn Moore, age 85, of Marion, IL who departed this world on Saturday, June 14th, 2025. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Terry A Moore, as well as many close friends and loved ones. Judy was known for her sweet demeanor, quick wit, and unyielding kindness. She walked in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, ever supportive of her community and those less fortunate. Born on December 22nd, she loved celebrating Christmas. We will miss her warmth and her beautifully decorated home every day, but especially during the holidays. During her incredible life’s journey, Judy earned her master's degree in education, was Chairman of the English Department, and a board member of the Marion Carnegie Library. She dedicated 40 years of her life to teaching English and left a lasting legacy spanning multiple generations of those lucky enough to be taught by her. 

Binkley-Ross Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements. In celebration of her life, there will be a graveside service held at Rose Hill Cemetery inside the Goddard Chapel on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial donations be directed to the Lighthouse Shelter.
