James Wesley Moppin Marion-James W, Moppin, 55, of Marion, passed away on Monday, March 14 , 2011 at 11:37 PM at Heartland Ragional Medical Center. A memorial will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 5:00 PM at Heartland Christian Church; 900 East Boyton in Marion. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. James was born on July 23, 1955 in Hot Springs, AR to Bill & Georgia (Marrs) Moppin. He married Donna (Filetti) Kitamura on July 24, 1987. Survivors include his wife, Donna; son, Zachary; mother Georgia Legrand; sisters, Betty & Dennis Artus and Michelle & Rick Hannel; brothers, Billy Moppin and Pete & Judy Moppin; step-children, Howard & Mellow Kitamura, Heather Simmons; sister-in-law, Carolyn & Larry Huntley, Jr; brothers-in-law, Gregory Filetti & Vincent Filetti; mother-in-law, Mary Filetti; nephews, Joshua Huntley, Ruyan Huntley and Brent Artus; nieces, Tiffany Huntley and Becky Scheifla. James worked at Baker & Sons Plumbing, he loved people and animals. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
