James R. Cunningham

Herrin- James R. Cunningham, 65, of Herrin, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, passed away at 10:05 AM, Monday, September 19, 2005 at Friendship Care Center in Herrin. James was born on March 15, 1940 in Herrin to Robert & Verlie (Shemwell) Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham was a US Army Veteran and he sold insurance while he was in Arizona. He was a good man who enjoyed his friends and family. He was of protestant faith. SURVIVORS: Brother- Gary Cunningham- Anna, IL Several cousins Many close friends Caregivers- Cheryl & Cliff Gosnell & Dodie Denham- Herrin He was preceded in death by his parents & grandparents. As per his wishes his body will be cremated and graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Herrin City Cemetery. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the graveside. A gathering hour will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service, Thursday at the cemetery.
