James “Jimmy” Leonard Longmire, born December 22, 1960, in Blue Island, Illinois, the son of John and Alma (Murphy) Longmire, passed away on August 13, 2026, at Axiom Healthcare of Harrisburg, Illinois.
Jimmy married Susan Elaine Hodges on February 14, 1995. He spent his career working as an auto mechanic. In their free time, Jimmy and Susan enjoyed taking weekend fishing trips together.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan “Sue” Longmire; and his brothers, Tommy Longmire and Richard Longmire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alma Longmire; and his brother, Robert Longmire.
In accordance with Jimmy’s wishes, cremation will take place and no public services will be held.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Binkley-Ross Funeral Home.
