Jack E. Edwards

Herrin Jack E. Edwards, 83, of Carlsbad, California passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 10:50 P.M. in Riverside, California. Jack was born July 28, 1925 in Montpelier, Ohio the son of Charles & Helen (Stocker) Edwards. He married Thelma Lee Hundley and she preceded him in death on December 4, 1997. He was a WWII veteran and Jack retired from State of Arizona where he had worked as a carpenter. Survivors include; Daughters Donna McLaughlin of California and Jennifer Morgan of Ohio Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren Preceded by his Parents and Wife. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Willowrest Cemetery in Carterville. Military rites will be presented by Marions VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and National Guard Military Honors Team. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
