Hazel Graul

Herrin- Hazel Graul, 86, of Herrin, passed away at 8:50 AM, Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Herrin Hospital. Hazel was born on September 7, 1918 in Herrin to Ernest & Elizabeth (Mason) Trout. She married Gene Graul on May 11, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1999. Mrs. Graul was a homemaker and belonged to Second Baptist Church in Herrin. SURVIVORS: Grandson- Brad Graul & wife Karen- Energy Grandson- Bruce Graul & wife Natalie- Herrin Four Great Grandchildren: Alison Graul- Energy Keith Walker- Herrin Brocton & Riley Graul- Herrin Sister- Helen Moore- Herrin Sister & brother in law- Susie & Pete Avripas- West Frankfort Daughter in law- Brenda Dale- Herrin Many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Ron Graul; grandson, Jeffrey Scott Graul; two brothers, Tom & Jack Trout; and a sister- Betty Bird The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Brad Harlow & Rev. Eddie Null will officiate. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Herrin. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
