Georgia M. Horn Herrin—Georgia M. Horn, 62, of Herrin passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:17 PM in Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. According to her wishes, Georgia will be cremated and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to any Humane Society No-Kill Shelter. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home PO Box 411, Marion IL 62959. Georgia was born on Saturday, July 16, 1949 in Herrin to Otis & Mary (DeBose) Bailey. She is the mother to one son, Brent Horn of Herrin. She is survived by her loving companion of more than 20 years, Tina Pinkston of Herrin; son, Brent; sisters, Mary Nicks of Hurst and Jo Ann Williams of Goreville & several nieces and nephews. Georgia is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Bailey and sister, Elizabeth Stone. She loved working with children, which was evident by her chosen career path as a Director Qualified Teacher at a day care center. Georgia enjoyed fishing, spending time with her treasured pets and going for long drives.
