Gary P. Thompson

Gary P. Thompson, 49, of Marion passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 3:27 P.M. at his home. Gary was born June 8, 1963 in California the son of Phillip and Sharon Lee (Morgan) Thompson. He was a chef at Disney World in California before relocating to Marion. Gary is survived by his; Two Brothers; Greg A. Thompson and wife Kim of Marion Phillip Neal Thompson and wife Aurelia of Corona, California Sister Melinda L. Portillo and husband Angel of Denver, Colorado Nieces; Katelyn and Abbelyn Thompson of Marion Zoey Portillo of Denver, Colorado Nephews; Darian and Adrian Thompson of Corona, California Brandon and Nikolas Portillo of Denver, Colorado Preceded by his Parents Phillip and Sharon Thompson and Uncle - David E. Thompson. It was Garys wish to be cremated and his ashes will be scattered into the cool blue Alaskan Waters in the Misty Fjords. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
