Celebrating a Life Well Lived

Gail Cox, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on February 6, 1958, Gail lived her life with grace, compassion and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her.

On June 27, 1974, she married the love of her life. Together, they shared 51 years and 4 months of unwavering love and partnership.

She is lovingly survived by her husband Kevin Cox; daughters Kendra (Michael) Highley and PJ(Glen) Faith; and her grandchildren: Ray Faith, Ethan Highley, Riley Faith and Avery Highley. Gail also leaves behind her brothers Tim Lee, Michael Lee, Floyd Lee and sister Joann Miller.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Mosby Lee, Jr.; her stepfather, Don Robinson; and her mother Delaney Robinson.

Gail found joy in life’s simple pleasures-spending time outdoors, tending to her flower gardens, reading a good book wrapped in a cozy blanket, and caring for animals with a nurturing heart.  Gail’s warm heart, quiet humor and deep love for her family will always be cherished. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Blue Funeral Home located at 1704 North Court Street, Marion. Funeral service will immediately follow. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
