Essie Sedelia Dellinger

Marion Essie Sedelia Dellinger, 88, of Marion formerly of Blacksburg, SC, died Monday, February 07, 2005 at 9:50 P.M. at Fountain Nursing Home. Sedelia was born May 12, 1916 in Blacksburg, SC to Robert & Etta Mary (Richards) Crocker. She married John Dellinger and he precedes her in death. Sedelia enjoyed playing Bingo. She had worked in the mills. Sedelia is survived by: Four Grandchildren: Verla (Pat) Clements of McComb, MS Dewana Davis of Magnolia, MS Charlene Gall of Evansville, IN Gary Smith of Crete, IL Eleven Great Grandchildren Seven Great-Great Grandchildren She is preceded by her parents, husband Jay, daughter Evelyn Allen, one Grandchild Richard Smith, three brothers and two sisters. Arrangements are being handled by Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
