Erna Louise Jennings MARION-Erna Louise Jennings, 93, of Marion passed away at 6:50 AM, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Herrin Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Louis Fluck officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of the service on Thursday. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Erna was born February 16, 1917 in Williamson County to Edward Fredrick and Mathilda Sophia (Sander) Eigenrauch. She married Fred Jennings; he preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Marjorie E. Peebels of Marion and Freida M. Myers of Carterville; grandchildren, Lyndal G. Peebels, Jr. and wife, Sheila, Robin S. Thompson, Melanie L. Myers; step-grandson, James McClour; great grandchildren, Nathan W. Peebels, Jeffrey K. Thompson, Jason L. Thompson, Bryan and Jennifer Anderson, Lindsey Anderson, Kayce Anderson and Faith Jump; great great grandchildren, McKenzie and Madison Anderson; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Ervin, Orval and Edgar Eigenrauch; and sister, Esther Germann. Erna was a longtime member of Zion United Church of Christ in Marion. She was formerly employed at Sangamo Electric and Allen Industries. She enjoyed quilting.
