Eric Von Lang

Eric Von Lang, age 60, of Marion, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at his home.

Eric was born on April 16, 1960, in Marion, Illinois the son of James I. and Dorotha A. (Stephens) Lang.  He was self employed as a mechanic and enjoyed building and construction projects.  Eric loved hunting, fishing, collecting antiques and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two brothers, James Stephens Lang and Jeffrey Irvin Lang, both of Marion; one sister, Lisa (Greg) Coutts of Oak Forest, Illinois; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Eric will be cremated and due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, no services will be held.

Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
