Eric James Dagner CARBONDALE- 8220;Eric James Dagner, 27, of Carbondale passed away at 6:46 PM, Monday, November 5, 2007 at the home of his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Tim Blankenship officiating, a graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Ava. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the funeral home. Eric was born March 3, 1980 in Carbondale, Illinois to Albert and Constance (Forquer) Dagner. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Albert and Diann Dagner of Marion; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Crystal Dagner of Marion; sister, Teresa Teeslink of Herrin; sister, Tammy Tiberio and Junior Collins of Creal Springs; paternal grandmother, Betty Dagner of Murphysboro; maternal grandmother, Catherine Forquer of Herrin; maternal grandfather, Don Forquer and his wife, Jessie of Marion; nephews, Tyler Teeslink and Trey Tiberio; girlfriend, Stephanie Speiser of Carbondale; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded by his mother; paternal grandfather, Howard Dagner; brother, Kyle Dagner; and aunt, Connie Edwards. Eric was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved to ride motorcycles and horses and he enjoyed playing the guitar.
