Eric A. Fike

Herrin-Eric A. Fike, 34, of Herrin, passed away at 10:17 PM, Thursday, August 18, 2011 at his home. Eric was born on June 14, 1977 in Carbondale, the son of Stephen T. and Cathy (Stampini) Fike. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Survivors include his mother- Cathy Fike of Herrin Two Sons- Anthony and Jacob Eubanks- of West Frankfort Brother- Jeffery Fike of Marion and girlfriend Amber Mayfield Uncle- James Fike and wife Sara of Dongola Aunt- Janet Treece and husband Harry of Carterville Niece- Destiney Dalcher of Carterville Nephew- Corey Griffen of Johnston City Friend- Beth Eubanks of West Frankfort He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial arrangements were made at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
