Elmer J. Krumrey Obituary Elmer J. Hoggy Krumrey Marion Elmer J. Hoggy Krumrey, 89, died 11:55 P.M., Saturday, June 07, 2003 at his residence. Elmer was born August 17, 1913 in Williamson County to Jacob & Rose (Soldner) Krumrey. He married Opal Ruth Lee on May 20, 1949. He was a retired coal miner. He was the custodian at the Zion United Church of Christ. He was a life long member of the Zion United Church of Christ. He was a member of Farm Bureau and a board member of the Davis Prairie Cemetery. He is survived by: One Son: Herbert E. Krumrey of Marion Two Brothers: Robert Krumrey and wife Grace of Orlando, Florida John L. Krumrey and wife Wanda of Cedar Rapids, Iowa One Sister: Mabel Archibald and husband Arch of San Diego, California Grandchildren: Herbert Krumrey, Jr. of Marion Randall Lee & Megan Marie Krumrey of Marion John R. & Alina Krumrey of Marion Great Grandchildren: Grant Lee Krumrey of Marion Ethan James Krumrey of Marion Abigail Krumrey of Marion He was preceded in death by his wife , parents, brother, Amos Krumrey and sister-in-law. Katie Krumrey. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at the Zion United Church of Christ with Rev. Kenneth Kramer officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
