Eleanor Frances Hastings

Eleanor Frances Hastings, 79, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 9:45 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Eleanor was born March 21, 1929 in Allendale, Illinois the daughter of Lovell & Clara Alice (Saulman) Schroyer. She married Lelin Wayne Hastings in Williamson County and he preceded her in death on September 5, 1988. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah Witness. She had previously worked at Sangamo Electric. Eleanor enjoyed reading and studying her bible, she was a loving Mother and Grandmother and will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Eleanor is survived by: Three sons; Larry Hastings of Marion David Hastings and wife Marijo of Johnston City Tim Hastings and wife Luellen of Marion Two daughters; Pamela Novinsky and husband Tony of Marion Cynthia Hogue and husband Cliff of Marion Fourteen grandchildren; Danielle, Katherine, Nathaniel, Matthew, Timothy, John and Alan Hastings Kyle and Deeanna Lewis Tracy Travis Carrie Mocaby Cliff Jr., Christy and Craig Hogue Fourteen great grandchildren; Kyler, Ocenna and Shauna Hastings KeAirra Miller Cody Novinsky Ethan Mocaby Hunter Travis Corey & Cliffy Hogue Curtis Lee Gibbs Austin & Robert Hogue Brennen Hess JLynn Minor Preceded by: her parents, husband and brother Billy Ross Schroyer Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Elder Charles Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
