Edith Neafus

Edith Neafus, 98, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 5:31 pm at Integrity Healthcare.

Edith was born October 22, 1922 in Dexton, Missouri the daughter of Lloyd and Minnie Powell.  She married Leslie Neafus in February, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1999.

She was a member of the Whiteash 1^st Apostolic Church.

Survivors include her:

Son – Gene Neafus and wife Joyce of Marion

Son – Lloyd Thomas Neafus of McLeansboro

Grandson – Lloyd Paul Neafus and wife Lindsey of Eldorado

Preceded by her Parents, Husband – Leslie Neafus, Son – Carl Neafus and several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2 pm at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion with Rev. Raymond Ketteman officiating.  Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
