Daughter: Rochell Karamichos of Lansing, MI Father: Howard Acklin of Marion Mother: Phyllis Shattuck of Crainville Brother: Edward Acklin of Marion Sister: Cheryl Conroy of Herrin Grandmother: Edith Appleton of Carterville Two Nieces: Amy Boomer of Herrin Amanda Acklin of Kalamazoo, MI. Three Nephews: Chris Phelps of Herrin Travis Conroy of Royalton Joel Acklin of Alto Pass, IL. He was preceded in death by one nephew Shawn Phelps Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M., Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Schierbaum officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery in Tunnel Hill. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
