Diane F. Kay

Herrin- Diane Frances Kay, 40, of Herrin, passed away at 4:20 PM, Wednesday, October 16, 2008 at St. Louis University Hospital. Diane was born on October 30, 1967 in St. Louis, MO to Dennis & Janet (Ament) Kay. She was a teachers aid for the special education department at Herrin. She enjoyed spending time with friends and raising shih tzu puppies. Survivors include- Father- Dennis Kay of St. Louis, MO Brother- Dennis Kay of Herrin Brother & sister in law- Daniel & Maribeth Kay of Herrin Brother & sister in law- David & Lori Kay of Chattanooga, TN Six nieces & nephews Uncle- Arthur Ament & wife Juanita of Rushville, IL Cousin- John Briggs of Oklahoma City, OK Cousin- Bob Oldani of Herrin Cousin- Mildred Oldani of Herrin She was preceded in death by her mother, and grandparents- Carlyle & Mae Ament. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Michael Neubert will officiate. A time of gathering will begin at 1:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home and extend until time of service.
