Herrin- Dennis Joe Brandon DeCoursey, 41, of Herrin, died at 10:45 AM, Sunday, February 25, 2007 at his mothers home in Energy. Dennis was born on November 10, 1965 in Carbondale to Jo & Linda (Frasier) Brandon. He was a graduate of Herrin High School and a brick mason for Carters Masonry. Left behind to mourn his passing are: Special Aunt- Lynn Frasier of Herrin Mother- Linda DeCoursey of Energy Father- Jerry DeCoursey of Energy Son- Troy DeCoursey of Springfield Brother- Mark DeCoursey of Energy Brother- Deon DeCoursey of Energy Brother- Joey Brandon of Campbell Hill Aunt & uncles: Larry & Norma Frasier Cissy Collins Ricky & Jeanette Warren of Herrin Michael McDonough of Mt. Vernon Cousins: Rhonda & Chris Jones Donnie & Destiny Ogden of Johnston City Rachette & Joe Fiorenzi Steven & Nina Frasier Kevin Frasier Richard Sexton of Herrin Debra & Allan Stilley of Gibson City He will be sadly missed by his many close and special friends. He was preceded in death by his father- Joe Brandon, grandparents- Howard & Alice Brandon, Jim & Irene DeCoursey & Bud & Ruth Frasier. A visitation will be from 6-9:00 PM, Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Berras Tavern in Herrin.
