David Lee McInroe, age 89, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at his residence in Marion.
David was born October 26, 1934 in Decatur, Illinois, a son of Leo and Madge Eleanor (Daniels) McInroe. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1952-1956. David obtained his Masters Degree and had worked as a teacher in education.
No public services will be held at this time. A private burial will take place at Mounds National Cemetery. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
