Corbin Patrick Jeffords

Corbin Patrick Jeffords, age 18, of Marion, Illinois passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 21, 2026.  Born July 2, 2007, Corbin lived a life filled with laughter, loyalty, music, and a deep love for the people closest to him. He was the beloved son of Billy and Kristy Jeffords; loving brother of Conor Jeffords; cherished grandson; and a dearly loved nephew, cousin, and friend to many.  He was preceded in death by no one who loved him more than his mother, Kristy Jo Jeffords.

Corbin spent his childhood in the woods and in the bean field of his family farm.  Those days shaped his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. Corb was a foodie.  He could devour a steak and lobster! He was a frequent participant of persimmon wars, fort building, hide and seek and many other shenanigans with his cousin crew.  The memories made and the bonds created will last forever. As a teen, he spent his time at the skate park, playing drums and hanging with friends.  Music was a huge part of who he was, and his rhythm could be felt by everyone around him.

Corb loved his family and friends deeply.  He never left his mother's side through her battle with cancer.  His love, loyalty, and devotion were unwavering until the very end.

He had a huge imagination and always had fun. Corbin could turn any ordinary day into an adventure and brought joy and laughter wherever he went.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 11 am - 2 pm at Blue Funeral Home located at 1704 North Court Street in Marion. Funeral services will begin at 2 pm with Pastor Eddie Donnelson officiating. Interment will follow in Busby Cemetery in Goreville. The family has requested that guests honor Corbin by dressing casual in rock/concert t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers.  In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that memorial donations be directed to Binkley-Ross to assist with expenses. Though his time here was far too short, Corbin's memory will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.  He will forever be remembered and missed beyond words by all who knew and loved him.
