Marion Charles Wayne Reynolds, 72, of Marion passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 1:27 PM in Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY. Funeral services for Mr. Reynolds will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled between the hours of 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday night. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice and will be accepted at the funeral home, or may be mailed C/O Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Charles was born on Monday, March 6, 1939 in Brookport to Charles E. & Harriett (Gaines) Reynolds. He married Sue Mumford; she survives of Marion. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Sue; children, Rob & Brenda Reynolds of St. Peters, MO, and Renee & Mark Coody of Seabrook, TX; grandchildren, Brittany & Matt McDonnell, Casey Reynolds, Graye Coody and Bailey Coody; special niece, Robin Bennett and brother, Warner & Toni Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Harriett. Charles was employed with Heil Beauty Supplies for over 50 years. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and enjoyed golfing, fishing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
